She walks in, with her beloved friend in her arms, the sound of dogs barking fill her ears. She is trembeling, but her old friend does not, they are lead into a small room in the back. The Vet walks in, and closes the door behind him. The now trembleing cocker spaniel is placed on the table. A tear falls from the womans eye and down her cheek, she looks into her friends eyes and trembles from the coldness of the room. She places her hand underneath his chin, and lifts it up, The woman for a moment sees a tear come from his eye The doctor steps back, last words are spoken... Another tear drops from the womans eye, The Cocker seems to understand what is going to happen, and licks her hand. The doctor steps forward, with needle in hand, with the Cockers head still rested in her palm. He injects the pink fluid into the small creatures body slowly, as he does, her dogs head slowly goes limp in her hand, the lady sees him breath slowly in and then let out his last breath, and his eyes begin to close slowly, before comepletely closed the woman sees one last tear come out of her dogs eye... The woman lays her head down on her friends head, and crys even harder, the doctor lays a reasuring hand on the womans shoulder, and leaves the room. *****THE END***** PLEASE SEND ALL QUESTIONS COMMENTS, AND COMPLAINTS, TO: Sadieluv@aol.com *OR* Sadieluv.
