Eyes

by Amanda E. Leckron - Not entered

Crystal ball,
blue with images
of light
reflecting the sky.
They hypnotise
my willing mind
and take advantage
of my weakness.
I gaze at spheres
of brilliant shades
mixed from a pallette
of refine,
slowly interchanging
in a kaleidescope.
They're glowing sparks
of a firework
that burn and impression
in my soul.
I surrender
to their luring explosions
of illumination.
They're a sea
of deep richness,
a neverending expedition
through an abyss.
I swam to the shores
and was caught by the pull
of his undertoe.
A wave comes crashing
down
hard
and carries me under.
I don't dare struggle
and I don't dare swim.
I am drowning
in his eyes;
they take my breath away.

Reason for writing:

I wrote this about a guy I dated once...I always seem to write the most about guys.
This guy had some pretty freakin awesome blue eyes..they practically glowed. I loved them.
