I was there when no one else believed in you I was the one who helped you when no one would I was the one who stood up for you when you were down I gave up my youth so that I could work with you and looked up to you. I was always the one to whom you could burden your problems on. You always loved brother more even though he did not do much. There were times when you would buy my love with what you thought were your tokens of appreciation but they meant nothing to me. There were times when I was punished for what I did wrong. I will still help you and work with you, but all I want in return is your love and respect. Is that too much to ask?
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem because it just dawned on me that my father doesn't really love me as much as I want him to.Birth sign: Not entered
