A Prayer

by t.P. Victor (Libra) - Not entered

God, let her know how much she’s missed
The first day our paths crossed
Shall forever be reminisced.
God, let her know how much I cared for her
Remind her of all the times I was there for her
To carry her when life brought her down.
God, let her know how much she meant:
Life can be so lonely without her around
She was truly heaven-sent.
But most of all, God
Let her know how much she was loved.

Reason for writing:

To whom this poem is written to or about, I cannot say. I had many of the women in my past in mind when I wrote this, and to those who know me by t.P. Victor, this is especially written to you. All I know is there's a void in my world where [one of these ladies] should be (Starcross, Void). After all, as Steven Patrick Morrissey states so well: I am only human and I need to be loved just like everybody else does (How Soon Is Now)
