Vampire Lover

by Kathryn aquarius - Not entered

when i'm in that place
between sleep and awake
that's when he comes to me

hair as dark as his soul
eyes green as the leaves of summer
skin that is pale upon pale

towering over me in the night
making my heart pound
stealing my breath

soft, full lips
soft and sensual
mouthing whispers of promised pleasure

long fingers
tracing an eyebrow, a cheek
a slender neck

warm breath
following the path
of his finger

faint scratch
sweet, sweet pain
joy

rough tongue
like sandpaper
lapping

languor
wonderful weakness
surrender

ecstasy
throbbing completion
aching withdrawl

why does he come to me
i am his life
he is mine
my vampire lover

Reason for writing:

I've always been fascinated by vampires, and one night was wishing that I could feel a love bite from one, just for experience, and then the poem came to me.
