Alien

by Zainto - Not entered

Homeless and lingering through space,
Looking for a better home, a better place,
I stumble across a planet called earth
Rumored to be spinning with everlasting mirth,
As I evaluate their intelligent life
Bewildered I am to see that they are foolishly dying within their own strife,
Racism
Prejudice
Hatred
Violence
Drug and alcohol abuse;
From afar that is all I can see
Where is this intelligent life? Why must this be?
Tears begin to fall down my lonely face,
Coming to the reality that this earth is not a better place,
Like it has been rumored to be across this galaxy and infinite space.

Reason for writing:

    I believe that this is the reason why aliens are sighted flying above our planet Earth, but they do not land because of the hatred, prejudice and violence.
