Lord, save my soul, carry it with You long after I am old. Wash away my sins, while Your heavenly light shines. Show me the way, and I will let You lead. Aaahhh, at last, it is only You that I need. Lord, watch me grow, and as You shower me'with Your love, I will glow, glow, I will glow! You are my possessions, my surroundings, and my whole being. God! How have I lived so long without believing!? In this time of need, Lord, please help me out. For the last few years I have followed You without a doubt. I have turned my life around, thanks to You, and I have learned from Your story. I need You now, Lord, please, if You comfort me with Your glory; You will soothe my wounds. I am ready now, but I don't know how. So reach out to me,touch me, Lord, and enter this body of mine; then everything will be fine. Through me, You can speak Your word. Through me, You will be heard. Tell Your truth through my mouth; and heal Your children with my hand. I will be there for You. Through me, You will live. PS to God: Thank You Lord, for finding me and allowing me to be Your vessel. Fore, now I am whole.
Reason for writing:
A few days ago I was just sitting at work; it was a slow day. I started writing some thoughts and ideas down, and 1, 2, 3.....I had this poem. I submited it because I think there is a good message in there and there was a reason for me writing it. That reason? Well, that would be to share it with the world!
