Mothers of the World

by Just a 14 Year old girl *libra* - Not entered

To all the mothers of the world
That are sometimes slightly forgot
You gave us the world, and eternityy
And love that can't be bought
Although it sometimes slips our minds
The little things we meant to say
This poem was written for a reminder
Incase we forget from day to day
Angry words are sometimes spoken
And painful tears sometimes shed
But you were always here to help us through
Down the hard path of life you led
You taught us things from experience
And got upset when we never learned
But you were always there and understood
Whenever to you we turned
I know it's never easy
And sometimes things aren't that great
But soon we'll be grown with families
Andd the trouble will be worth the wait
