Forest of Life

by Ryan Stieber - Not entered

I journey through the forest of life with nothing to guide
me and a long path behind me,
in front of me are endless paths,
some lead to peoples' wrath,
some make me laugh, some make me cry,
and some make me wonder why?
Why must we go through this living doubt we call life,
yet a few of us can cut through it with a very sharp knife,
hard work, love, and determination are what it takes to
continue through this demanding, forest of life

Reason for writing:

I was in the middle of a forest thinking about how my life
was going, and then started to think deeper on life. I
noticed there were several paths in front of me and behind
me. I noticed that life was also like this forest, many
paths, and at times, there is nothing to guide you through
this forest...so is life and its decisions.
I like to share my poetry, always have, this is one
more way that I can do so.
