i want to feel seasons again i want to live somewhere where leaves fall somwhere where green has meaning and daffodils in my mind winter rivers swell and flood until spring's gentle murmer explodes skunk cabbages everywhere maybe next year i'll eat a curling frond a friendly fern or another wild hyacinth suck i am dreaming always of another spring of a slow sweet summer of autumn gold before the cold forever i want to feel seasons] again
