Wallow

by Quarantine Taurus - Not entered

Drown me in my wallow
So that the death I live is gone
An age of agony I’ve endured

The glass flies through the air
As the memories smash across the floor
A million worlds away from here
As I open my eyes of sorrow

The bottle my only true friend now
Blending night into night
Praying for this to end
So I can truly rest in peace

Is anyone listening to my tale ?
The blank faces of the stones stare
Telling me their truths
Tempting me to their womb so warm

Feeling oh so alone by the ones I know
Deaf and dumb of the deeds done
 The dark alley houses them
Sheltering them from the storm coming

Such sadness stains the lightest soul
As the white turns so black
For all the time and bottles
Nothing can wash this clean

So living the days so alive
So I don’t drown myself
Is the only way I’ll survive
I will survive

Reason for writing:

A relationship that ended due to
unusual circumstances that weren't
anyone's fault but the fault of timing ...
