A Majestic Pair by Robert Porter Copyrighted October 6th, 1997 Such I have never felt before Like an eagle you make my heart soar. Over cliffs, valleys of despair. I dive, climb without care. My heart joyfully sings, as I gracefully wing. My heart beats true, because of you. My heart is free, because you love me. My soul is content, because of the love you sent. With a cry, in midair we collide With sharp talons we clutch. Plummeting to earth side by side. Tumbling, falling we touch. The rocks below we can not anticipate. Rolling, end over end we mate. Separating before disaster. For together the sky we master. Come ride the air currents with me, and help build our nest by the sea. With my talons I will guard you, and with my heart I will love you true. Together we will turn, Together we will dive, Together we will learn, Together we will thrive. My Love, fly beside me. The sights we will see. A life we will share. Such a majestic pair.
