The Day The World Fell Silent

by Ry@n McNeil - Not entered

The Day The World Fell Silent
    Our children,mothers,and fathers cried
    the tears of a nation.
A nation torn apart by hate.
A hate of love,a hate of peace,
a hate of all that is right in the world.
One blast that silenced the world,
an act of terrorism that sickened us.
The children that so innocently died,
they died for the beliefs of an individual.
The bast that touched us all,
    young and old,american or not.
A blast that showed us an act of evil,
an act of evil that should not have been.
An act of evil that we should look at and see,
that a tragedy like this saddens us all.
It saddens us because we are human.

Reason for writing:

this was inspired by the oklahoma bombing
