The Faeries danced around her hips The Faeries danced around her lips She danced among the Faeries too A Maiden pure and fair and true To music only they could hear She twirled and swayed and felt no fear Without her mother's watchfull eye She danced beneath a pale blue sky From dawn 'till dusk she spent with Them 'Till mother called her home again She ate her supper, went to bed And Faeries slept beside her head
