With innocence and purity woven within On a large stretch of canvas was where I began My heart told me to paint a masterpience The ending result in my mind was too beautiful to conceive I began with strokes tenderly kissing the canvas with colors of hope and love and understanding With tedious care, intent on perfecting each corner, each dream One morning from my dream I awoke The wisdom of the sunlight did evoke A revelation under the criticism of the blinding light There was no love to capture, only the lust between you and I Yes I did paint a masterpiece A splendid canvas of lies for all to see
Reason for writing:
How much I wanted my first relationship to be a perfect masterpiece. It turned out to be a short-lived relationship filled with uncontrolled emotions and deceit. Perhaps if I thought more with my head, I wouldn't have been hurt so deeply.Birth sign: Virgo
