WEST SIDE STORIES #1

Here on the west side i hide
fall in love with every boy with pinpoint eyes
Here it is twilite for eternity
and broken glass on cracked pavement
is the only light is see tonite
Outside all the other dopefiends
slink in alleyways
and all the gangsters call out
What star you ride?
and all that.
Here,i wait,
among the crumbling tenements and their dead-eyed residents
among the food stamp sellers and the cella dwellers
and the rock stars and the hypes
and I ask you
do you truly know what HOPELESS
means?

Well,I do,
and I'm crying.
Lately im living in nightmares
and even my daydreams scare me now
wake up in cold sweats and slow drea(I'm DOPESICK)
ancient and eternal sickness
junk withdrawal ,ive got a fever,Mommy
and i sit here waiting for a way out
like a bus that never comes.

Reason for writing:

Should be self-explanatory!!!!
