The Pain

by buddy, taurus - Not entered

It began with an ache
You gave it time
Then it stopped to wait
By now a blade honed fine

You let it get close by
Then you moved too soon
The ache began to cry
It needed much more room

You couldn't stand it anymore
There was no chance that you could win
It came beyond the door
Just walked right on in

You turned around to run
It was supposed to be a game
It saw past all the fun
Then you felt the pain

You looked all around
There was no more fun
The pain had been found
And death had just begun.
