It began with an ache You gave it time Then it stopped to wait By now a blade honed fine You let it get close by Then you moved too soon The ache began to cry It needed much more room You couldn't stand it anymore There was no chance that you could win It came beyond the door Just walked right on in You turned around to run It was supposed to be a game It saw past all the fun Then you felt the pain You looked all around There was no more fun The pain had been found And death had just begun.
