Ever since I saw your, oh so perfect smile, And that perfect bady that made any girls heart in 1 minute beat a mile. I had no idea that it could be, That a guy like you would like a girl like me. The day that we actually met, was a day at Marquette. I was your partner, and you were mine, And my friends thought they were going blind. To see a guy like you with me, was somtheing they found hard to believe. We talked all day long, As we talked all my chances of never getting you were now wrong. Then you asked me to dance, This felt like a one in a million chance. You held me in your arms close and tight, I felt like I was flyin' cuz all the weight on my feet felt so light. We danced to I Believe I Can Fly, And then you had to go so we said our good-bye. You called me that night, I talked to you with the image of you embracing me tight. You said you liked me and would ask me out soon, When you said that I felt I'd drift to the moon. Then came the day you asked me out, It was at a track meet, I wanted to jump in the air and let out a shout. I said yes, and we went out for a while, But my heart just didn't beat that same old mile. I really liked you, But all of a sudden I felt that goin' out with you was making me feel blue. So I tore our love apart, Which left me with a broken heart. So now I'm back in love with you, So tell me what am I to do?
Reason for writing:
I went out with a really sweet guy and I really liked
him and all, but as my poem said it just made me feel
different to be goin' out with him. I didn't think he liked me
I didn't think he wanted to go out with me. SO I thought I
was doin' him a favor by breakin' up with him. But now I
really like him........ again!! Another Damn Guy Problem!!
