Forever Young

by Holly... Cancer - Not entered

Along the calm and silent shore I wander
In long flowing robes I am clothed
Before the sun rises I will see many fall
                          Into the grasp of death

Within the blackened sky I see my life
                           For it is never-ending

From where I stand I can see tonight and I will see eternity
Beyond the end of all things that are and will be

Underneath this mortal flesh I will never perish
In my lair I will sleep until dusk
Out of my chamber I will descend
With the coming of each and every season

                              To every ocean
                           Through every town
Under every star I will roam
Until the sun fades to gray and the earth decays and crumbles
                                Into nothing
Until the moon turns to blood and the cherubs sound their shrieking
                             trumpets of brass
While the stars mysteriously descend like rain in November

From this spinning rock I will see the end of time
                              But not tonight
                         For now I must continue
On my journey...searching for answers I hunger for
Without ever seeing the sun or feeling its warmth again, I drift
Like sand in gentle howling wind
                          For I am forever young

Reason for writing:

I guess it's terrible but it is still a dream for me
