I met you before, in my dreams, how can that be... Could it be that God is sending you to me... So alike, but so far away... Souls alike for eternity... You feel what I feel, No one else has... Your voice is so comforting.. Although only in a dream I've never seen your face, but you look like an angel... I feel all alone until you are in my dreams Every night they grow more and more... Making me feel sensations words cannot describe You are pale and pure, dressed all in white, You are an angel Although only in my dreams... So if dreams it must be... I look forward to each night With the thought of you loving me... If I can't have you now or in this lifetime... I'll look forward to the day we meet in heaven... Where our hearts can join as one...
Reason for writing:
I met this wonderful friend online. He and I began to write in letters as well as online. He had a dream about me and I wrote this poem to describe the feelings he had felt in this dream. He was a great inspiration....
