Footsteps under me A steady rythm The fear takes me An eagle pounce claws in my soul My heart pumps I feel sweat-drip Cold against my skin I watch the ground Rocking back and forth with my every step Lost in my shadow swinging around like a pendulum First i follow my shadow to become parralel and then i follow it Neon silhoutte Pale and glowing lamplight The fear grips me cars pass in flashes people sweep by Alleyways fade into uncertainties Building loom with blank windows Insect eyes I walk faster The darkness skips around the neon in clouds of static half-lit gloom rising into oblivion and silversream stars Shadows Vapour trails of my imagination Gather behind me Closing in silence I am an owl-watching Night shapes scatter to find the invisible blanket of sightless, formless night A man lies bloodied and bruised Face down on the street A bloodstain spreads beneath his body A butterfly or angel wings Praying Praying Praying Thank God! -fading Gone.
Reason for writing:
The sadness goes on forever. In mankind their lies a noble trajedy of living just to die.To death and its sleep .To rot into unconsciousness and formlessness. To rest and become the cyclical fertilizer for life continous and life eternal.A paradox of pain and joy.Just to speak, just to speak.Speak for a second. The sadness goes on forever.Birth sign: Not entered
