(A Poem) For Those Who Have Left Us You brought joy and laughter, Into our hearts. Your smiling faces, Were the lights in our lives. It was a terrible injustice, For you to be taken from us. But in our hearts we know, It was your time to leave us. You gave so much, And taught us about life. Now you teach us that life ends, And we are not in control of when that happens. Now you leave us with only memories. The bad times, And the good times. We will treasure them for always in our hearts. You were our sons and daughters, Our brothers and sisters, Our relatives, But most of all you were our friends. So to Dallas, Tanya, Kevin, Shane, Erin, Codey, and all our other friends who have been taken from us, We will not forget you. You will forever remain, In our hearts.
