If I See You Tomorrow

by Bridgette* Cancer - Not entered

If I see you tomorrow,
please don't say hi.
Save me the tears,
and just walk by.

If I see you tomorrow,
I will not slow down.
I am still too hurt,
I'll only be able to frown.

If I see you tomorrow,
I'll not talk to you.
I'm too afraid of what I'd say,
and what you would say too.

If I see you tomorrow,
I'll break down in tears,
cause it's still too early,
and to my heart you're still dear.

If I see you tomorrow,
I'll only think of tonight,
how I cried myself to sleep
and couldn't get you out of my sight.

If I see you tomorrow,
please just stay away.
Cause I promised myself I wouldn't cry,
and I'm afraid my promise I would betray.

Reason for writing:

The same guy most of my poems are about.
