To stand beneath the midnight sun, On the bank of a mighty river, Or to gaze transfixed, at the northern lights, On a quiet winters evening, Is a chnace to to become one with nature, And to journey back to an almost forgotten time, A time before America had a last Frontier. Alaska is a land of many secrets and timeless rituals, It is the land where inspiration and new experiences abound, Where lights dance across the northern skies,\ And where the Eagles dare to fly. Alaska is where you follow your heart to where dreams are free, And where we too head to inner voices And turn north when the spirit calls. It rings out clear and true. Alaska is the land of majestic moutains and mighty rivers, it is the land of whispering breezes, And some say that if you listen carefully, You'll hear it calling your name.
Reason for writing:
Well I was inspired by a very close friend of mine who went up to Alaska to go to school. He is the reason behind this and so far it has been published by three companies and has been enjoyed by many people. I never thought that it would end up being so widely read and liked. I dedicated it to Sjon Wynia and to my friends for their support and I saw this site and I wanted to put it on here for thers to enjoy as well. I do hope you all enjoy it.Birth sign: Not entered
