Daddy, Farewell Sorrows filled the days on end and wiped out smiles, laughs, and grins. I weep over your grave, knelt and head bowed. Asking how could this ever be allowed. As I grasp the keys to your favorite old car, I wish upon one lonely star. I recall of the way you worked so hard, to provide for your family...nothing unbarred. Although we had our disagreements, as daddies and daughter's often do, I have never stopped loving you. You'll be missed and your vision embraced. My memories of you will never be erased. Following the death of my father, I felt all alone.
I needed his guidence...and strenghth to pull me through.
I felt that writing this poem would let him know that I
would really miss him and that his memories would never be forgotten.
