Speak the truth, to get the vote; not sincere: They cut your throat. Just when thinking all is grand; part your lips, and taste the sand. For what claimed from righteous heart; gone from sweet, to bland; to tart. Now once thought as guaranteed; fuels doubt, and uncertainty. But one chance with breath, remains; time left, still, to grab the reins. Try this time, to do it right; for once from mind, soon out from sight.
