I Love You

by 5.31003 - Not entered

I start thinking of what to get you
so I brave the bad weather
because it must be something wonderful
for our first Christmas together.

So I walk into the stores
as the snow falls to the ground
and notice all of the possible gifts
that are piled all around.

First I look at perfume
and then at some jewelry
but nothing seems to be right
to put it under the tree.

So I pick up a few gifts
and hope that they'll be alright
but I still can't help to think
there will be something missing on Christmas night.

Because no matter how many gifts
that I could ever get for you
all of them could never equal
the one I have in you.

And when I fall asleep on Christmas Eve
I'll be as excited as a little boy
because I'll already have the best present
and it's better than any toy.

Because all I want for Christmas
it to spend some time with you
wishing you a merry Christmas
and letting you know that I Love you.
