I dreamt I called up Heaven on my touchtone telephone. A sweet angelic voice answered me and said If you believe in God, push one now, That God loves us everyone, push two now, If you have spread the Holy word, push three now, helped some soul on an upward course , push four now, If you'd like to join us in our heavenly home, push five, right now! At those words, I awoke in a sweat, for you see, I'm not quite ready yet.

After calling Ameritech and getting five choices, I sat down
and wrote this poem.
