A Calling

by Charles Hill - Not entered

A Calling

Listen as the voices cry out
shadows across a historic void
a baron domain
a realm of white.
For no man merit
yet they stay
The Inuit
partners since the beginning,
allies protecting nature
preserving tradition.
Their story has no ending,
it is the story of the Inuit.

Reason for writing:

what inspired me to write this poem wwas their
amazing dedication to their culture, aslo a song
by a (in my opinion) very good artist as well
