Falling Away from Golden Tears

by Dakarai Jelani-Miller/scorpio - Not entered

In my varied innocene
I kissed the moonlit night
In my varied ignorance,
I ran away from what
is true.
Far away I fall
behind
the life I led
before.
Alone, Unwanted,
anonymous, I walk the streets,
looking at the faceless seas
ebbing and flowing around me.
Cold, unwanted,
alone,
I find myself a stanger
in familiar lands.
A freak in a world
of normalcy,
abused in a place
of compassion.
In the dark shadows
of a world of light,
Falling. Always falling.
Always falling away
from the
Golden Tears.

Reason for writing:

One of those days were nothing made sense, but everything was as if should be. A day when I felt out of place more than I am.
