Today

by Elizabeth capricorn - Not entered

Look into my eyes
and tell me what you see,
Nothing but pain treads
softly in my soul.
behind my smile and laugh
There is something you can
not understand. A river of
hate not for you but for me

I am empty and unforgiven.
To thee I say I'm sorry;
I am sorry for my tears,
I am sorry I am alive.
My being is lost.

I have been stabed to
many times with the black
knife that I hold at my throat
to love and care for me or you.
I only hope the world can forgive me
for what I must do.

Reason for writing:

    same as the other reason
