The Candle

by Christi - Not entered

As it burns,
It lights up the room.
Leaving it feeling,
Sad with gloom.
Knowing soon there,
will be no more,
Life for her,
She is to be adored.
Giving us light,
At a romantic dinner,
But she grows small,
Dimmer and thinner.
Her light dims,
Her wick is gone,
Suddenly she feels,
Weak not strong.
Darking with every second,
She slowly goes out.
Leaving a puddle,
Of wax so stout!!!
Goodbye candle,
It's time to go,
But forever,
She will softly glow.

Reason for writing:

It really isn't about a candle, It's about life!!!!! I mean it's like God tells us it's time to go ( Goodbye Candle It's time to go) but we still live in everyone's hearts ( but forever she will softly glow) It makes sense to me and I hope this cleared it up or made it more understandable!!!
