Crashing Around Me

Crashing Around Me

Where is my thalamide,

I stop and snigger,

while the world

crashes around me
.

I feel so alone,

A lonely fly,

in the still of the night,

Cant see.

She means so much,

Too much for words,

I retract, distracted,

I am lost.

Thought the time was ripe,

To tell her how I feel,

She told me,

Before I did.

She told me,

She loved someone,

And for all that’s left,

It wasn’t me.

Horizons, only seen,

Never reached,

I decided to fade off,

Into the sunset.

Night console me,

Take me in your arm,

A bosom to rest my weary head on,

A shoulder to cry on.

I am lost. lose me, lose me, don’t abuse me......lost

Reason for writing:

Was I unlucky with love? I don't know, it sure felt that way......:) I guess it's ok now, but then was then........
