Heaven's Light

by t.P. Victor (Libra) - Not entered

For nights I have stared
	Upon the heavenly stars
I know you are out there,
But I know not who you are.

Are you as lonely as I,
	Who trod on alone?
Are you crying inside
With no one to lean upon?

I’ve seen your face,
In my sleep, in my dreams,
I’ve searched the world
	Across mountains, across streams.

Only to find I am alone
In a world built for two.
Oh love, my love,
Where under heaven’s light are you?

Oh my lovely star,
	Who shines before me.
Come! Set this
	Lonesome soul free.

Reason for writing:

Are you lonely? Have you ever looked up at the stars at night and wondered if someone out there is also doing the same: wondering if someone, somewhere is reaching out like yourself. Well, this was my thought I as I stared endlessly.
