Through Other Eyes Can we ever know when something is too much or not enough? Can we see into another person's heart and mind to find the thoughts and feelings that reach out to us --- Reach out to touch our hearts... to change our minds... about who we are and what we want from this life? Probably not .... But we can try to understand the way that they hear our words, the way that they see the joy and pain in our eyes, see how the feelings they give to us change how we move forward into each new day with a knowing that is more than we had the day before. To learn how to see all these things as if through other eyes, is what makes the connections we struggle to maintain worth the effort, the pain, the joy, the frustration, that we would never have to endure if our thoughts and feelings were only our own.
Reason for writing:
I wanted to say how important it is to me to not always see things only my own way and to say that we can learn a lot even about ourselves by observing how other people see us.
