Scorned, the small brown bird survives alone, lonely, an outcast, til one day a Swan glides away.
Reason for writing:
I think we have all been at one time or another outcast or
at least feeling like we are all alone in the world...and
story of The Ugly Duckling inspired me to write this poem,
which describes how those who are even the slightest bit
different sometimes feel.
