Mayhem

by Clayten Gillis - Not entered

Eyeing the shot in the dark.
A love for withering locks.
Hostile friends, straighten bends
Feeding on the hard jagged rocks.

First time in seeing a careless profession.
High profile life, with gibbering obsessions.
Where strangers engage in a lovers quarrel.
Where lovers engage in a strangers world.

Kicking the man for laying down.
Beating the man for standing up.
Drowning the man for making waves.
Burning the man for offering praise.

Gaining your fame, a beggers life.
Lessons of living, more pain, more strife.
