Let's Just Be Friends

Let's just be friends...the dreaded saying goes.
But it really means it's over,
just as everyone knows.
He says, Let's just be friends,
but you know this is a lie.
It's just a weak cop-out
that's told by many guys.
Let's just be friends, 
you know that that's not true.
No longer will you talk again,
no longer are you two.
Being friends just means
no longer will he call.
No longer will you share your love,
you once had it all.
Being friends is great
unless you hear it from your guy.
Why must Being friends be used as such a lie?
