Standing By

by Emma St. Jude (Libra) - Not entered

I'll never know which way you'll fly
I'll never know if I should try
To amend the rules you did defy
But I'll still be here standing by.

I'll never know which way you'll be
I'll never know if i should see
The thoughts that keep you company
But I'll still be here helping thee.

I never know which way you go
I'll never be sure if I should know
The feelings that you will not show
But I'll still be here laying low.

So I sit back and breath a sigh
Still wondering if I should try
To amend the rules you did defy;
I'll always be here standing by.

I'll never know which way you'll fly
I'll never know if I should try
To amend the rules you did defy
But I'll still be here standing by.

I'll never know just how you'll be
I'll never know if I should see
The thoughts that keep you company
But I'll still be here helping thee.

I never know which way you'll go
I'll never be sure if I should know
The feelings that you will not show
But I'll be here, just laying low.

So I sit back and breah a sigh
Still wondering if I should try
To amend the rules you did defy;
I'll always be here standing by.
