Children

by Tara Atkinson - Not entered

Little boys,little girls
With eyes that shine like little pearls.

Small little creatures in such big places
Small little features on their little faces.

They stay small for what seems like a day
Then they grow up and move far away.

They never write and they never phone
This makes you feel all alone.

This lonely feeling that you get inside
Makes you want to run and hide.

And sometimes you want to run to them
Those special people that you call your children.

Reason for writing:

I want people to appreciate their children while they can because some day they'll be gone. You'll lose them oneday;treat them with care.
