What A Friend! Each morn when I arise
His presence ever near My friend who is so close to me; To me,He is so dear. He listens when I'm happy And sees me when I'm sad Always there to comfort me; Best friend I ever had. Sometimes I get complaining; The valleys seem so deep But yet,He understands me; Awake or in deep sleep. He helps me make decisions; Teaches me right from wrong. Even when I'm in the valley deep; He fills my heart with song! As I look around this world of ours And see how bad things are A prayer of thanks goes up to Him; He's my bright and morning star. We all can have a friend like this Who can turn your skies to blue; I know this dear friend loves me so And I know He loves you,too. My dearest friend is JESUS Who guides me with His hand No other friend will you ever find On water or on land. To me He's been my SAVIOR; Saved from sin and self; Just look into His Word some day And get your BIBLE off the shelf. It may not seem important now With so many things to do But trust me when I tell you this....... He'll be your best friend,too!
Reason for writing:
My being a Senior citizen and living alone,I was feeling sorry for myself and then I realized what a good friend I had and His name is JESUS!
