I'm Purposing

by Teresa/Taurus - Not entered

Love is the wander of the world,
Its like the first time we began to walk,
First we stumble, fall, and cry,
Then we get up and try all over again.

When time has passed,
We get accused of things we have not done,
Then its time to be judged,
To find out when everything is going to be OK.

When everything is OK,
We sit down and talk,
About the life we had together,
And the life we are going to spend.

It's time to settle down now,
I want you to be with me,
As long as we both shall live.

If you hadn't noticed,
I've been trying to ask,
Will you marry me?

It may or may not,
Be the right time,
But I had to say it,
Because I love you.
