Do You Love Me?

by cary - Not entered

Do you love me?

If you could see inside my head,
would you find me so pretty still?
Blinding light, heat, blood. The darkness.
Broken glass everywhere, a single
smile shattered, but no one seemed
to hear.

If you could see inside my soul,
would you want me so very near?
Searing me, eating...no tearing. The empty.
Picking up the pieces, rearranged to my liking
not theirs, but no one seems
to care.

If you could see inside my heart,
could you stand to hold my hand?
Anger, rage, revenge in it's ultimate form.
It's a dull scream after so long, a vision
of home. But no one seems to hear,
and I just don't care.
