Swallowed Star

by Lobo - Not entered

All that e'er I wish to find
is that which was left behind.
So very close, yet so far
-burnt by distant star.

Heart is burnt, yet wanting more;
yearning light from distant star.
Alas, each wonderful ray
-bears a price to pay.

Where was once a star so bright
now a black hole steals the light!
Dense mass of forbidden words
-censored by the lords.

Each bit of light that escapes
from black hole that, my star, rapes
finds its way straight to my heart
-tearing it apart.
