Faded Love

by serenity*leo* - Not entered

Can't stop thinking about
and can't seem to get you out
of my mind.
Why'd your love have to be
so damn good?
Never though I would
want more after tasting
your bitter sweet.
Your succulent juices quench my
thirst only to make me walk
the distance to search for your oasis.
As I reach out to drink of your blue
I cup my hands and swallow as
I feel the grains of sand scratch my throat.
In my veins, in my blood
your poison runs through me
like a raging river, a current strong.
The pain of loving you
and loving the pain
brings tears to my eyes and
beats my heart to death.
Embrace me in your shade,
kiss my mouth one last time
before I melt into the sand as
you watch all you knew dissolve
before your burining eyes.

Reason for writing:

fell in love with someone I could not have
