hurt

by falcon - Not entered

too late you realize the words that slipped from your mouth
will torment the ears to which they are spoken
silence falls and she breaths heavily
as he sensitivities burn and sting in the pain you caused
you stupid freak, how could you hurt her so
she, who you would die for in a second
as she fights back against her tormentor
the knife in your belly wrenching thru your flesh
you become the victim as your heart beats in agony
you signed her death-warrant and she, yours
you cannot change to past or predict the future
and so you waste away in the moment's bloody fire.
