Showing Lost Love

by Dr.Nick - Not entered

My heart jumps as I spy,
A beautiful girl passing by.

With eyes of blue, and lips of red,
Not a word could be said.

I watched her sit across the room,
Lighting up my day of gloom.

She looks at me and gives a wink,
So I thought, Could this be it? MY missing link?

Then someone else walks up to her,
Stealing (My plan) Her heart within a blur.

Now she's gone from me today,
More or less, I couldn't say.

She won't be back for me I know it,
And this is the only way that I can show it.

Reason for writing:

What inspired me to write this poem is being Rejected When asking someone out.
