Blink

by FA - Not entered

An angel blinks in the dark
So many screams, so many sunken ships
A drop of red upon his dried up lips
Of all his crimes he bears the mark

Like the blind man who had eye but does not see
At peace, his soul shall never be
He stabbed his brother high upon the altar
As his twisted god watched from afar...

Reason for writing:

Just thinking about religion's numerous paradox and contradictions
