Feel My Wrath

by Katharine Miller/ Leo - Not entered

There came to be a fork in the road
From where our paths once crossed
Love like ours damned where the rivers flowed
The ring I held so close, meaning's lost.

I watched you kiss the strong and beat the weak
And splashed the mud across my face
Showing young ones your evil streak
Then you pushed me out of that place.

You can't work you magic on me
I'm immune to your runestaff
So curse me with your wizardry
And hear my dragons laugh.

You rose up to the top of your realm
With your gilded robes and faithful gang
Mages with their hard leather helms
Too many enemies, too many to train.

Our paths will cross in a different way
You'll turn to your renegade friends
Feel my wrath, I'm the ultimate enemy to slay
Fire from my soul will bring your end.

There came to be a fork in the road
From where our paths once crossed
We were damned where the rivers flowed
The ring I held so close, love's labour's lost.

You just can't use your magic on me
I am immune to your obsidian
So curse me with your wizardry
Feel my wrath to your end...

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem nearly two years ago about my last ex-boyfriend. His major addiction was a game on a BBS called Major Mud. His life became less about us and more about a virtual computer game.
