#144 I know I cannot have you, Though you felt so very near. It's gonna be another cold night, Love, Wishing I were holding you dear. I was passing over the bridge, When last I thought of you. Staring out across the water, Wondering if you're thinking of me too. It was so dark and peaceful, Water reflecting in the moonlit sky. Sarah McLachlan singing of you, A single tear fell from my eye. I felt as you were leaving me Love, You felt so very near. It'll be a cold night in Canada, Wishing you were holding me dear. I'm a whole country away Love, Wishing you were here with me. Spending this night together, Maybe some happiness I'd see. It's another cold night over the water, Distance knows we cannot be. Staring out across the water, Wishing time would stand for you and me.
